My 2012 series, “Molding lives” was inspired by recycled molding and then embellished with complementary colors and textures. Fabric, printed images, handmade paper, painted polymer clay shapes, acrylic paint and other fanciful items were added to create the unique personality of each figure.

The recycled wood molding base is collaged with handmade paper, acrylic paint, and found images of with themes of birds. Her plumb floral textured skirt is embellished with handmade polymer buttons. Under her skirt, you may notice her purple polymer clay boots.
